 Later With Jools Holland & One Big Weekend |
| We're returning to Radio One's Big Weekend event, this year held at Mote Park in Maidstone. We played at One Big Weekend last year in Preston just before Wait For Me was out and it was great!! This year we're playing on the Main Stage with The Kooks, The Enemy and Nelly. To register for tickets go to this link One Big Weekend Tickets. The deadline for applying for tickets is Monday 28th April. In other very exciting news we're doing out first performance on Later With Jools Holland in BBC Two this week. The show goes out live on Tuesday night (22/04) at 22:00 then an extended show goes out on Friday night which will feature an exclusive performance of one of our new album tracks. All proceeds of the show are going towards the rehabilitation of an old friend of ours, Brad Hodgson who sadly suffered a brain injury as the result of a road traffic accident in December 2006. All proceeds for this gig will be going to the Bradley Hodgson Trust Fund which helps to pay for the outstanding rehabilitation that Brad continues to receive at Pinderfield Hospital,Wakefiled.
Everyone involved in this show has rallied round - even the booking outlets have waived their usual fees (although some credit card charges may still apply) and the band's crew and are also donating their wages. Everyone involved is really glad that we have this opportunity to help out.

| As some of you may know we've been holding a competition in conjunction with Yorkshire Evening Post to give a young up and coming unsigned band a chance to play at Millenium Square on our gig there on Saturday 3rd May. We recieved a good number of entries from a wide variety of bands around the Yorkshire region. Matt, Colin (our manager), Ali & Kate (from our record label) and Andy (from Futuresound) along with the guys at Yorkshire Evening Post spent a long while listening to the entries to find a 6 good bands for you guys to vote for. We're pleased to announce that on May 26th we are releasing our new album "Emergency." Released exactly 2 days less than a year after Wait For Me the new record is released again on Leeds independent label Dance To The Radio. The album was recorded at Monnow Valley studios in Wales with producer Stephen Street (Blur / The Smiths) and mixed again by Cenzo Townshend who we worked with on Wait For Me.
